Academic Leadership
SENIOR LECTURER YEAR LEADER
FHEA, FRSA, ADCE member and recipient of the ArtSU Student Voice Advocate Award, I operate at the intersection of academia, culture and the creative industries. My work spans programme leadership, curriculum innovation, international education and social justice, informed by over two decades of professional practice in branding, communications, publishing, photography and cultural strategy. Through teaching, research and mentorship, I cultivate inclusive learning environments that empower the next generation of creative and cultural changemakers.
Currently, I serve as Senior Lecturer and Year Leader for BA (Hons) Design Management at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London, while also contributing across multiple UAL Colleges and programmes. My teaching and leadership portfolio spans undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education, including Arts & Cultural Enterprise, Design Management, Graphic Branding & Identity, Publishing and Journalism, Fashion Business, and Culture, Criticism & Curation. Working with cohorts in the UK, Hong Kong and Europe, I foster international knowledge exchange and cross-cultural dialogue, connecting academic enquiry with professional practice and global industry perspectives.
Beyond curriculum design and academic leadership, I view education as a powerful tool for cultural transformation. Drawing together research, creative practice and industry collaboration, I strive to create learning environments where innovation, wellbeing and social justice can flourish. Whether working with students, cultural organisations or international partners, my goal is to help shape reflective, inclusive and globally minded professionals capable of contributing to a more equitable, creative and culturally connected world.
